On the other side, the Hindi belt parties have adopted a more nuanced approach, welcoming the temple but opposing the overt association of the PM with the consecration. In Goa, issues of electricity, water, and roads have irritated the public without any improvement. The politicians are enjoying temple cleaning, seen as gimmicks. But the thing to remember is that people are suffering from skyrocketing prices and inflation. The rich have become richer, and the poor have become even poorer. Who will solve these problems has become only a question mark.
