The Panaji-Ribandar causeway was hot-mixed just over a week ago. In merely a few days the tar is already peeling and the potholes are resurfacing. What a criminal waste of public funds. The contractor must be blacklisted and prosecuted for cheating the taxpayers.
The authorities also seem to be least concerned that this causeway is in a precarious state with cracks developing all over. May be they are waiting for our historic causeway to collapse.On account of the current IFFI the Atal Setu has been illuminated. It would be nice if the authorities had thrown some light around all those huge potholes on this bridge which are posing a great hazard and danger to the motorists using the bridge. The bridge which was inaugurated in January 2019 started falling to pieces in just over two years when we were assured that it would be a state-of-the-art one and would last over a century. It has ended up as a fiasco and a master showpiece of corruption. All those responsible for this loot and organized crime must be brought to book.
