It appears that there are no laws to regulate hair transplant centres and beauty clinics in State.
A number of clinics in the name and services of hair transplant centres, parlours, spas, etc, have come up in the State and throughout the country and this has to be regulated with a new Act.
Hair transplant is a surgical method of hair restoration. Most of the States in India have not framed rules and adopted the central Act.
The hair transplant centres are supposed to deal in hair transplant and various other allied services which they are not.
States like Sikkim, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh have passed resolutions adopting the central Act. In some cases old laws are incapable to meet the present day situation.
State legislatures and Parliament have to take in to consideration the present day situation and pass appropriate new legislations to cope up with the developments.
