Capital gain taxes are levied on earnings made from the sale of property in Goa. Currently, the long-term capital gain tax rate on property is set with the addition of cess and surcharge. This tax rate is applicable on every property by government of India. The owner will sell the said property for his better prospects and interests. The government of India has no right to tax such financial gain. It is unlawful to levy taxes and block the public money as the government has no right to privately owned property and should scrap the tax rather than earn a living for their own accounts thus causing grievances to the public
