Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar has reportedly advised Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to first talk about the rising crime in the State and then to accuse the Congress for insulting Sanatan Dharma.
Well, it should be noted that CM Pramod Sawant whilst addressing a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh has accused the Congress for insulting Sanatan Dharma by not condemning the recent controversial statement by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Now, how much does the BJP condemn the statements of its own leaders when they are in the wrong? This selective approach may not be in the country’s best interest.
I think that CM Sawant should condemn any form of hate speech, irrespective of who is making it. A one-sided approach may not be the best for the current political climate.
