According to the Czech filmmaker, Vaclav Kadrnka, this film is based on his personal experience. He seems to understand very well the pain and the trauma of losing a loved one.
He says, the film, Saving One Who Was Dead, is a film of positivity. These are certainly difficult times we live, uncertainty reigns everywhere.
Many have lost they loved ones to Covid. The pandemic has turned our world upside down. We do not know what tomorrow will bring.
And such times I think, the message he portrays through this film is quite relevant, that even during the most difficult and challenging times, we should not lose hope and feel the spark of liberation.
Hope and faith in God is perhaps the only thing we can cling to. Everything else can fail.
