The Colva-Margao road had been hotmixed not too far back but it has already started crumbling, add to that at various places there are sunken steel chamber covers embedded in the surface which pose a danger to both vehicles and pedestrians. If at all the covers are to be retained they should be raised and fixed flush with the road surface. Hope the authorities take note of this.
