Don't blame others for your poll loss

BJP State President/MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade whilst addressing a press conference on Tuesday after the Lok Sabha poll outcome was heard blaming Catholic priests/religious heads for the defeat of their South Goa parliamentary candidate Pallavi Dempo. Well, a prominent religious leader from Ponda was openly heard advising all his followers to vote for a particular party for the sake of defending their 'dharma' in Goa/India in a video on a popular local news channel just before the Lok Sabha elections in Goa. Now, should we start blaming him too for the loss of the Congress' North Goa parliamentary candidate Ramakant Khalap and for getting lesser votes in all the majority community dominated constituencies of North Goa? That would be really foolish.  I think that if BJP leaders like Tanavade and others want to show that they are not communal and want to take their 'Sabke Saath Sabka Vikas' really forward in the state then they should stop blaming Catholic priests/religious heads unnecessarily for the loss of their South Goa parliamentary candidate and instead should take moral responsibility for that loss and resign.
