Assembly elections result will finally be declared on March 10. Most of the parties say that they are confident of forming the government.
In the name of development many winning candidates may plan to join other parties even as talks with top leaders are going on and the money bags are being kept ready.
This time people of Goa should not keep silent if your winning MLA decides to hop to another party in the name of development. They should not get cheated like last time.
Goans should get ready to gherao their MLAs and take them to task for betraying their voters.
The MLAs will try their tried and tested trick of divide and rule. They will try to convince their voters that development is need of the hour and that sitting in the opposition will not help.
Time and again Goans have been taken for a ride not by one party but all the parties who have ruled Goa. There are no jobs for our youth. The basic necessities of water and electricity are not there. The roads across the state are in pathetic condition.
People from every constituency must rise and question their MLA. If at all the MLA defects, he should resign and contest the election again. By doing this the voters will get a chance to teach him a lesson.
May better sense prevail and hope Goans get a government that is sympathetic and understanding to the needs of the common man.
