Political manipulation adds to the turmoil, dividing communities along religious lines while outsiders fail to understand or protect Goa’s interests. Amidst this, NGOs stand out for their dedication to preserving Goa’s environment and identity. However, the future of Goa hangs in the balance, dependent on collective action to address the root causes of its decline and protect its heritage for future generations.
