Goans are now looking for peace, governance

In the edition dated March 14, 2022, of the Goan Everyday, Churchill Alemao, who lost the elections from Benaulim, said people voted for a party which has promised a job in every family. There are statements in the press from several politicians -- both winners and losers. What people are looking for, is honest living, good governance, saving the environment and religious tolerance, peace and harmony among all communities. It is the politicians who sow seeds of discord in society. This must stop. At the end of the day, I feel they should all shut up and get down to the task at hand. The people of Goa are looking for some positive action on the ground.
