God save the Congress in Goa


Most exit polls have all predicted a hung assembly with no party getting an absolute majority on its own when the results will actually come out on March 10 in Goa. 

Which means that the top leaders of both the main parties namely Congress and the BJP will have to finally indulge in their usual horse-trading.

The so-called 'senior' leaders in charge of the Congress party who were displaying their usual bravado all this while and talking confidently of getting 22 plus seats are now heard desperately talking of having a post-poll alliance with parties like AAP, MGP & TMC.

I therefore feel that BJP will still have the last laugh by swiftly & maybe by even desperately making the MGP supremo Sudin Dhavalikar as the next Chief minister.

Time for Congress leadership to entrust the responsibilities of the party into the hands of genuine leaders in the near future.

Tomorrow March 10 will be a very important day for Goa and Goans as the results of the state elections held on February 14 will be declared. Many have compared these elections to the Opinion Poll with regards to its importance.
