Government boasts of building excellent roads highways, 6-lane super expressways, nullahs and stylish bridges. Yesterday's incessant rain (nature fury) has washed away the government boast and has opened the cupboard of skeletons of likely omission and commission, crores of tax payers money washed away in the water. The blame game passed to government contractors. Yes, they have contracted the works but they themselves have not finally inspected and approved. However, there are large stretches of road in bad condition and in total darkness which makes motoring at late nights a total nightmare. And now the PWD Minister is proposing to build 6-lane super expressway at Porvorim. Before that please first work towards improving the conditions of roads over which public are outraged.
