Come monsoon and Goa gets roads full of water logging and makes movement of vehicles a great hardship. Two days rain has put life under threat all over goa. Uprooting of trees, house damages due to fall of trees and vehicles under trees are common issues today. The fire brigade services and disaster management cell is facing tough time during these days due to many accidents and incidents due to heavy rains.
Also, traffic gets blocked in the morning wee hours just opposite GMC as vehicles come from all four sides and inspite of fly over there is traffic jam below the fly over. There is no traffic police hence everyone wants to go first leaving the entire traffic blocked. There should be traffic person just opposite GMC road as many vehicles pass through service road.
Though we can not stop nature from its act we can always prevent accidents by taking precautions and building proper nullah and gutters for water flow and thus preventing water logging which makes traffic flow hard to get the way.
