Hats off to Capt Viriato for raising issues in Parliament

South Goa MP Capt Viriato Fernandes should be congratulated for raising the issue of double tracking, demolition of the Dev Khapreshwar temple at Porvorim in the Lok Sabha on Monday and for rightly exposing the true face of the ruling BJP government in Goa. The State government is indeed expanding highways and railways by even demolishing the houses/compound walls of Goans, Hindu temples, chapels etc to send coal to other states and turn Goa into a permanent coal hub. Unfortunately, our North Goa MP Shripad Naik and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade are both not seen raising any such issues. Anyway, three cheers to South Goa MP Capt Viriato Fernandes for continuously doing a wonderful job in Parliament on behalf of Goans, exposing the misdeeds of the present ruling state government and for still fighting to stop the ongoing destruction of Goa.  Keep it up Capt Viriato Fernandes!
