It’s disheartening and shocking to witness the events in MP, India and the disturbing trend in the name of religion across the country. The Hindu flag placed atop the holy cross in MP should rightfully adorn the Hindu temple instead; the flag, unsupported, symbolizes the weak representation of faith. This regrettable act reveals the ignorance of those who disrespect the holy cross. Such individuals, acting unlawfully, harm their own God, reflecting a lack of understanding and respect for their own religion.
Even Lord Shree Ram would be ashamed of actions not endorsed in Hindu holy books. These individuals, often manipulated by top political groups for divisive agendas, serve as tools during elections and are discarded thereafter. Presently, both PM Narendra Modi and CM Pramod Sawant remain silent on these issues.
However, Goa boasts enlightened Hindus who embrace interfaith harmony, contrasting the political ploys of divisive politicians. Let us remember that true devotion doesn’t involve harming others. Politicians, playing the divide-and-rule game, seek to exploit religious sentiments for their vote banks. Genuine devotion lies within, not in forcing others to say Shree Ram. Wrongdoers who harm God will face judgment, and their actions reflect their own spiritual decline. God is our creator, not the other way around.
