Tears of happiness drop from the eyes of the workers of MMC Margao after the municipality has given them promotion after many years. We don't understand why the A class Margao South Goa municipality has taken so many years to see that their workers get promoted and now there is a hope that the daily wages LCD staff who are working for the past 17 years along with other workers will get a chance to be made permanent, who are serving the Margao municipality for years. The internal politics should end in MMC so that the proper justice will be given to the employee who have worked for years. After so many years things have started changing in the civil body of Margao and yet the staff and the people of Margao expect much more from the municipal council. Hope the MMC councillors, DMA office, MLA Digambar Kamat, CM Pramod Sawant, MLA Vijay Sardessai will solve the problems of staff as soon as possible and bring smiles to their faces.
