It was really hypocritical to see Goa’s ministers publicizing themselves as lovers of children with all their “philosophical” talk they were giving out on November 14 ( Children’s Day). If they really had children Interests in mind should they not be governing properly with their interests in mind. Some things come to mind: Clear/well equipped parks/pools etc; Focus on clean environment, protection of trees/water bodies/hills/forests/wildlife etc; Setting a good example by the cracking down on corruption first with the Goa ministers; Stopping coal pollution hubs/corridors(rail/road) that are being set up; Coming down hard on polluting industrial units eg Cuncolim, etc. This are the many examples I can show that this government is only interested in publicity and no sincere action.
