This is with reference to the report "Fake doctor among 4 arrested…….- The Goan Everyday - November 16, 2023." Fake doctors operating fake clinics or nursing homes or hospitals may not be a new thing in our country where people want to make money at the cost of human lives. Take adulteration of food items, plastic sugar for instance. So this latest case of fake doctors at Delhi should not be too surprising. Yes, it is shocking as it has claimed two precious innocent lives. Such fake doctors have betrayed the trust these hapless patients have placed in them. Just as in politics, ethics seems to have no place in the medical field. Such people have lost their conscience. What is required is sincere, detailed and regular investigation into all such medical clinics, etc. Fake doctors are akin to murderers and should be dealt with accordingly. After all, it's human life at stake.
