It is really nice to hear that for the first time flight announcement in Indigo Airlines was made in our mother tongue language Konkani. It really means a lot and made Goans proud who were on that flight flying from Goa to Ahmedabad. The history is made by Indigo Airlines by making announcement in Konkani and all the other airlines should do the announcement in Konkani as well from mopa airport in north and Dabolim airport in south Goa on the flights coming and going from the state of Goa. Thanks to our Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai who requested the crew member to do announcement in Konkani and the crew member proudly did announcement in konkani. Thanks to Indigo Airlines for having such crew members in their airline who have taken good care of Konkani and won the hearts of Goans.
Request our Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, both the north and south Goa airport authorities and all the domestic airlines to ensure making inflight announcements and airport announcements as well as do displays in Konkani language.
