Is CM's assurance on passport issue real promise or 'jumlaa'?

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant whilst speaking at a function at Nuvem on Tuesday has assured that his government will resolve the Indian passport tangle within the next 8 - 10 days.  Well, after hearing this statement of the CM , Goans should not start celebrating because he must have made that particular statement to woo the gullible voters from Nuvem constituency keeping an eye on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and on the South Goa parliamentary seat.  The BJP leaders are historically known for promising only 'jumlaas', they are famous for taking our Goan Catholics, especially from South Goa for a ride during most elections in the state and later backstabbing them over many such issues to further their own communal agendas in Goa. Weren't the central BJP leaders led by PM Narendra Modi also promising these same people of giving Special status for Goa and begging for their votes during most election rallies in the past? Now, whether the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government really resolves the Indian passport tangle within the next 8-10 days or whether this turns out to be another 'jumlaa' for all the Portuguese passport holders/seekers from Goa, time alone will tell.
