Goa Police officials challan the citizens who break the traffic laws and the revenue goes missing from the government department funds and setting seems to be done to divert the money among the officers who are involved in the racket by putting lady police on front line. The men in uniform are rumoured to take hafta in all the illegal business running in the state of Goa from madka, gutka, late night loud parties, extension of late night bar and restaurant timings and during accidents. It's a shame not only for the Goa police department but to the Chief Minister who is also home minister and shame on BJP government in Goa where the government money is looted by their own police officials. I remember the chor and police game during our childhood days when sometimes you have to be chor and at other times police. The situation in Goa Police department is such that brave police officers are getting transferred and the corrupt officers are getting suspended but get all missing funds when they join back on duty. That's the main reason why the mafias are not afraid of Goa Police because they know they can buy them anytime, anywhere. The crime rates are increasing because there is no fear of police among the gangsters.
