Goa is known for its beaches and during the winter season we can see role seagulls play on beaches. The seagulls play an important role in cleaning shores. The birds keep the sand clean by eating all small insects, pests, etc. Recently seagulls were seen around the shores of Caranzalem in the morning. Months ago a tourist vehicle was booked for driving on Arrosim beach and killing seagulls. The birds help in ecology balance and should not be disturbed during their visits. Goa will witness many such birds in this season especially in North Goa.
