Kochi ED team raids in Panaji are eye-opener

I read recently that ED team raided Panaji casinos. This raid should have been done by our local Enforcement Directorate but it came all the way from Kochi ED team  who projected that the raids were conducted on casinos situated in and around the city of Panaji. This local department did not have the details of the raid conducted and the search on casinos operators whether off-shore or on land. When we have Enforcement Directorate in the city itself why others from distant places like Kochi should give details to us more than from our local directorate? Whole world knows what is going on at casinos docked at Panaji. We, Panjimites have the right to know what is going on at casinos. This duty should have been done by the government itself to control the situation before it aggravates whether there is really gambling going on at casinos or not. Everybody is keeping quiet and the casinos instead of stopping docking at Panjim jetty are increasing in number. The nuisance of what casinos is creating is beyond tolerance levels. And still they call it a Smart City. It is not too late for our government to open their eyes.
