It is really shocking to see that the Konkan Railway Corporation entering the rent-a-bike business at five railway stations in Goa which will slowly start rent-a-car business also. The KRC will hand over the operation of rent-a-bike to a corporate company. The Railway should improve its trains, tracks and its stations but I don't understand why KRC is getting involved in the business of the rent -a-bike ? How can the Konkan Railway go ahead with this kind of projects which will affect the business of local Goans taxi and rent-a-bike operators? Why the government and Konkan Railway authorities are all out to target the people of Goa who work hard for their living. If the Konkan Railway are having too much budget than they should reduce the train fares and replace trains with new ones. KRC should immediately stop and drop the idea which will hit our Goan taxi and rent a bike operators. This idea is meant to finish Goan local businesses in the name of tourism.
