It's a warm and appreciative move from the government to block more than 100 websites pertaining to job frauds and illegal investment. It is learnt that these websites lure potential customers to do certain task and pay them some eligible commission, thus gaining their trust and luring them for a higher investment. Subsequently, once the investment keeps on increasing from potential customers, their accounts are frozen leading to online frauds. However, the potential customers usually targeted are housewives/unemployed youth/retired employees, etc. To safeguard the interest of the common men, the concerned authorities should educate the general public regarding the same. This can be implemented by holding campaigns in schools/places of worship/ parks /media etc. Phone call frauds should also be dealt with, by the authorities concerned.Several people are duped of their life savings by fraudsters who pose themselves as "customer care agents" from banks. It's of paramount importance that the general public gets aware of all the pros and cons pertaining to online dealings/frauds /deceptive schemes/ and safeguard oneself, thus leading to "Cyber Safe India."
