Make road in Siolim safe to drive on

There have been occasional accidents in Siolim Village recently. A white Swift went off near the Bamon Vaddo junction, causing damage to the side parapet built by the PWD on the MDR road. However, the owner of the vehicle has not faced any consequences, even though they damaged a government structure. Has the PWD taken any action against the owner or initiated an inquiry?

There have been multiple accidents on the dangerous Marna Ganeshpuri road on the Siolim side. Another loaded small pickup truck has slid down the slope, fortunately not damaging the compound wall this time, but hitting trees instead. We hope the driver is safe, and fortunately, no pedestrians have been reported injured.

I fail to understand why the Road Engineering Cell hasn’t been able to redesign this road to make it safer for drivers. I believe it’s high time the government appoints a consultant to survey the road again and redesign it to ensure safe travel for everyone.
