Peace within shows outside

People who are constantly cruel, disrespectful, or hurtful to others are often struggling with something within themselves; frustration, insecurity, anger, or unhappiness. That does not excuse bad behaviour, but it helps explain why some people act the way they do. People who are genuinely at peace with themselves usually do not spend their time trying to tear others down. They do not need to insult, humiliate, or spread negativity to feel better about themselves.

Hurt people often hurt people. That is why it is important not to take every harsh word personally at face value. Sometimes the way someone treats you says more about their internal state than it says about your value. At the same time, self-awareness matters. If you constantly spread negativity, anger, or bitterness, it may be a sign that something inside you needs healing too. Because peace within yourself is usually reflected in how you treat the people around you.
