Police stations and their handling cases of assault

Verna Police station was declared as the best police station of Goa for the year 2022. The same police station allowed a hooligan to abuse and assault senior members of Goencho Ekvott, where despite clear CCTV footage the “best police station” booked not only the the assaulter and also strangely the victims of the assault. Is this is the best police station of Goa? I shudder to think of the state of other police stations in Goa !

Delayed consumer council meet postponed again

After much delay, the Chairperson, Collector ( North) convened a meeting of the North Goa District Consumer Protection Council of the many Government departmental heads and members of the consumer forums for a meeting on April 24 at 11am in the Conference Hall, 2nd floor, Secretariat, Porvorim.
