It is really shocking to see that just before the Lok Sabha election day, Goans are going on a pilgrimage to Vailankanni by 'Vailankanni Express' for which over 800 pilgrims have already booked their tickets and others are on a waiting list. I think the railway authorities and government of Goa should cancel the train on that day and schedule it after election day. The election holiday is given for the citizens to cast their vote. They will be responsible for the candidate that finally gets elected to parliament if they don't change their minds. We see many Goans are visiting Vailankanni at the cost of politicians' money which doesn't have any blessings and I have seen Goans going to Vailankanni with their own hard earned money. Goans are easily falling into the trap of politicians. My humble request to our Goan brothers and sisters to cancel the train tickets on May 6 and go to vote on May 7. Our Lady of Vailankanni will shower blessings on you and your family. Plan your Vailankanni trip some other time because you may get to elect your Lok Sabha candidate only after 5 long years.
