Revolutionary Goans (RG) will not win South Goa but they can split votes to let BJP win (How they did in Dabolim to help Mauvin Godinho win during 2022 Assembly polls) RG surely knew they had no chance in Dabolim so why did they contest ? And now after they helped get Mauvin Godinho elected there is their “drama of criticism” of Mauvin ! Why the hypocrisy. Even if you look at the statistics, RG got about 10% vote share in last assembly election which is good start. I have respect for MLA Viresh Borkar and some points that RG raises but if the ultimate results help BJP then what’s the point of supporting RG. St Andre was an exception, vs mostly the RG impact helped BJP win in many constituencies at the last assembly elections. The primary objective is to get rid of the BJP which is much worse than the Congress ( unless RG thinks otherwise and prefers BJP!) Finally results matter and I believe the RG senior members have the maturity to take a strategic decision for the benefit of Goa by withdrawing and should they do this the respect and support will increase from many including myself.
