The main road stretch of Arrarim at Saligao starting from Peggy's corner and heading right up-towards the iconic old Padmanab building is currently giving nightmares for motorists using this road as the same has been fully damaged by the labourers of the PWD in the name of laying some underground pipeline network. The worse sufferers are residents/locals whose houses are located right across this particular road stretch of Arrarim-Saligao as dust is frequently seen entering their houses after the passing of every moving vehicle and due to which most of them are even seen constantly watering a few road stretches in front of their houses every morning to minimise dust pollution and desperately trying to save their houses from getting dirty. I think that the concerned authorities should take a very serious note of the above fact and instruct the labourers of the PWD to speed up their work at the very earliest or else should get ready to see rain water entering houses/compounds of all the locals staying across this particular road by way of floods and also some horrible mishaps/accidents during the coming monsoons.
