How can the OSD to Goa CM Dr Pramod Sawant and a person who started off as a BJP grassroots worker be appointed to what is supposed to be an unbiased post of SIC (State Information Commissioner)? The BJP's arrogance seems to get worse by the day by breaking every rule in the book in the appointment of Atmaram Barve as SIC. Sadly, this is even supported by BJP State president Sadanand Tanavade, who is a Rajya Sabha MP. I request Goa CM Sawant to withdraw this appointment and ensure the rules and guidelines are followed, so as to provide Goa with an unbiased SIC.
