Repairs to the washrooms at the South Goa Administrative Complex have come as a pleasant surprise. Musicians enthrall people, theatre artists entertain people, teachers teach people, but it is washrooms that relieve people. They are an essential part of the ODF plan for Goa. For the past few years, only one or two urinals were found to be functional on the ground floor of the complex.
So while one or two gents used these, others in the queue had to wait and watch! Furthermore, intimate odours were found to be emanating from the washrooms at the Mathany Complex while passing by in the corridors outside. This calls for the use of deodorisers as well. Viewing things now from a larger perspective, there are sufficient tea joints located all over Goa. There can, however, be a need to have more pee points all over Goa.
