Goa government has now reportedly decided to prohibit entry of people in the forest areas in the wake of multiple fire incidents in the state and to prosecute those intending to party within the forest/protected areas under the Wild Life Protection Act. Well, if the government still feels that the forest fires (especially at Sattari and elsewhere) were man-made then how come it did not file a single FIR against anyone in Goa till Wednesday? We Goans have never witnessed such type of incidents in one go in the past and that too at one time in Goa. Well, it looks like someone like 'Spiderman' has been unleashed to simultaneously light fires to some of our famous hills/forests so that slowly more destructive projects can be introduced in different parts of Goa. And now that the government has suddenly banned the entry of people in forest areas under flimsy excuses, I really smell a rat in this whole new development in Goa. Looks like this is a well-planned dirty game which has been successfully played to somehow gift some of our hills/forests to the builders lobby in Goa.
