Fuel prices have been stable for the last 100 days. This is a great relief to customers across the country. Assembly elections are currently underway in five states. It is expected that the price hike will take place soon after that. Global crude oil prices are at an all-time high. The current rate is 91 dollars per barrel. No increase in fuel prices since November 3. At that time, the central government and some state governments had reduced the excise duty. Therefore, fuel prices were kept under control. When fuel prices are stable, it affects many things. Transportation as well as prices of essential commodities stabilize. The counting of votes is now starting on March 10. However, many consumers are hoping that the fuel price will not go up till then. Consumers expect fuel prices not to rise further.
