Those littering Sernabatim beach must be penalised

Sernabatim beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in South Goa, but sadly the entrance is awash with litter. The maximum trash is found below the ' Clean Goa Green Goa' board and near the toilet block. I fail to understand why citizens and tourists don't pay heed to keeping the area clean. A CCTV camera should be installed at every beach entrance and monitored in real-time by the police. That way offenders can be caught immediately and fined by the authorities.

Yet another brief assembly session?

It is deplorable that the ensuing Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly is again going to be a very brief one, a mere five days from March 27 to March 31. A decorative exercise just to comply with the constitutional requirement that the gap between the two sessions of legislature of the State cannot be more than six months.
