BJP is doing in West Bengal what it did in many other states: deleting voters using Form 7 and adding fictitious voters using Form 6. The Centre is disenfranchising voters who are known not to vote for it. They are then injecting the voter list (with more than a little help from Gyanesh Kumar and the ECI) with fake voters who will not even vote but whose votes can be electronically cast after the voting deadline ends in the state elections.
When Rahul Gandhi had raised this issue, TMC kept itself aloof. Now the chickens have come home to roost. Mamata Banerjee, one should recall, was once a minister in the NDA government, yet the Congress remains an opposition party for TMC. TMC has often taken a stance contrary to that taken by the INDIA Bloc in Parliament. One should not forget that pride goes before a fall.
