Fuel in the well: A serious threat

It is deeply concerning that petrol or diesel contamination has reportedly been found in the well at Sancoale Church, which is located near several surrounding petrol pumps. It is still unclear whether this is due to a leak from an underground pipeline or deliberate dumping. Authorities who inspected the site have confirmed that the water in the well is flammable. An urgent inquiry is needed to find out how this hazardous substance entered the well and to prevent any further contamination. The water in nearby wells should also be tested to protect the health of residents, as well as pets and plants that could be affected by this pollution. Prompt action is necessary to safeguard both the community and the environment.
