Western nations excusing India

With so much Global coverage on reducing democratic rankings/Freedom in India and also the BBC documentary on the current Indian PM, Western governments are seen to be generally excusing India and I was at the time most certain that this (West looking the other way!) was driven by the huge business and billion dollar contracts that Western nations are looking to sign up or rather sell to India!

And now saw one verification of the same - the news on the 80 billion dollar deal between Boeing/Airbus with India i.e. 470 planes being purchased by Air India and highlighted by leaders of USA, France and India! The US President was thankful to India for also helping create 1 million jobs in America.

Conclusions; Indians can’t always rely on outside powers particularly Western governments to preserve our hard fought freedom from those vested interests (particularly the internal ones) who are now planning to take it away. We have to fight for it ourselves and can’t expert anyone to come to our rescue.
