A intoxicated rowdy person, accompaning a police sub-Inspector (attached to Porvorim police station) was seen arguing with a cashier/other assistant staff over a inflated bill in a restaurant at Socorro, Porvorim, threatening to send them behind bars, openly firing bad words in front of small children/customers and even issuing threats to the owner of the same restaurant by hurling abuses on phone in a viral circulated video on social media. Of course, the PSI has now been transferred to GRP, Altinho by the government, pending an internal departmental inquiry. Unfortunately, the rowdy guy who was seen misbehaving with the restaurant staff in the viral video has still not been arrested nor an FIR filed against him. I think that the government should instantly terminate the services of cops caught indulging in some corrupt activities live on CCTV cameras i.e. when found using abusive language against innocent people and harassing females, threatening restaurant, tea stall & other business establishment owners, demanding for discounts, asking for free complimentary services etc misusing their uniform.
