Only the battle has been won, the war lies ahead

Imagine if you employed a housekeeper who did not work for you at all, left your home filthy, had no meals ready on time or ever at all, told you to tighten your belt on spending and spent your money on herself, while she shot videos of herself in fancy clothes in fancy clubs while spending your money all the while both on herself and her friends. That is exactly the kind of government we have currently. We need a government which is a silent servant in the background doing everything to make our lives easier, neither seen nor heard unless strictly necessary. We want a boring government who does the boring, steady work of governing, so we can have exciting lives of our own. We don't need our government to entertain us and be the centre of everything 24/7. We had that boring dependable government, pre 2014. Thanks Gen Z for putting that plan into motion, but don't lose the momentum. Only a small battle has been won, a much longer war lies ahead.
