Families often spend their life savings or fall into heavy debt to pay for coaching, particularly for competitive examinations like NEET, only to see their children's efforts undermined by corruption and question paper leaks. Ironically, private spending on tuition now exceeds the government's entire higher education budget, highlighting serious shortcomings in public education. Years of neglect in education, employment, and equal opportunities have transformed the aspirations of young Indians into a growing social, economic, and political crisis. The recurring scandals surrounding national entrance examinations expose deep-rooted flaws that demand urgent reform. If India's education system is truly among the world's best, why do so many influential leaders choose foreign universities for their own children?
