The sudden spurt in prices of all commodities is deliberate and purposeful. There is no sudden change that can explain such massive increases on all daily goods of common consumption. The elections are round the corner and money has to be siphoned off to parties as election donations and funds. The Ukraine war is on going for last 3 years plus and Iran flare up is only months old. The petrol prices are being flogged as cause of all evil and main culprit, but why at this juncture? The recent additional change in oil prices does not support phenomenal price escalation. The festive season seems to be the best opportunity to rip the people. These are political gimmicks to fool the people and allow full scale loot by certain parties to fill their coffers.
