But who will answer for Delhi Police using Meta smart glasses to scan, identify and hunt down student protesters? Same night, same tech, same company. See the irony here. Police wore these “pervert glasses” at Jantar Mantar to record faces, match them, and knock on doors for arresting innocent citizens. Peaceful young people protesting paper leaks and exam fraud are treated like criminals. The government’s priority is clear : Protect the PM at any cost, the nation be damned ; crush the students' movement. This is not law and order. This is state-sponsored surveillance dressed up as smart policing. Privacy for the powerful, intrusive cameras for the powerless.
How long will we let our children be tracked and thrashed like cattle while the same government lectures the world about free speech? Kafkaesque.
