Will Cockroach Janta Party enter electoral politics?

The remarkable rise of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has achieved what many established opposition parties could not accomplish despite years of political struggle. What began as a youth-driven movement has captured the imagination of the public and demonstrated the immense power of organized, determined young citizens. Now there is growing discussion that the young leaders behind the CJP should not allow this momentum to fade. Instead, they should channel their energy into active politics by forming a political party of their own. These leaders have already shown courage, leadership, and the ability to mobilize people around a common cause. Taking the next step into electoral politics could enable them to transform their ideas into public policy. Indian politics has seen limited representation of young people in positions of power. The aspirations and concerns of the younger generation often receive less attention than they deserve. A greater role for youth in governance could bring fresh perspectives, innovative thinking and transparent governance. Only time will tell whether this movement remains a memorable chapter in political activism or becomes the foundation of a new political force.
