The Goa state commission for protection of child rights has organised rangoli workshop for a day on May 18 from 9am to 4:30pm in Sateri Devasthan hall,  Kumbharwada, Mayem, Bicholim for children. The resource person for the workshop is a well known rangoli artist Arjun Shrirang Parab, president of the Rangoli Artists Association of Goa.

The commission has also organized jewellery making workshop for the period of 8 days from May 13 to 21 at Aardhawada, Mayem, Bicholim. The commission has asked interested children are requested to kindly submit their names and address on the below mentioned numbers via sms or whatsapp to 7030941331 or 7030941330. The details are to be submitted for the following workshop on or before May 10 for jewellery making and May 17 for rangoli workshop.

The commission has taken the initiative in developing skills in the children as per our State Action Plan. The commission has also appealed the children to participate in large number to make the workshops successful.
