The makers of upcoming film Dishoom recently released the teaser of the first song Sau Tarah Ke in which Jacqueline is seen sporting a mini dress and has a ‘Kirpan’ around her waist. This move has not gone down well with members of the Sikh community. Kirpan’ is one of the five compulsory Kakaars worn by any practicing Sikh. And in the actress’ case, it dangles inappropriately around her waist, which has resultant into making a mockery of the sacredness of the religious symbols . Manjinder Singh Sirsa, The Gurdwara Management Committee's general secretary has written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification asking for the song removal and demanding an apology from the film cast and director.
