Legendary Danish pop and soft rock band Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) is all set to unleash its magic in Goa, after a string of successful concerts across India in Guwahati, Dimapur, Gurgaon and Kolkata.
The concert will be held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium in Bambolim, located a short distance from Panaji on the evening of December 19, a day when the state celebrates Goa Liberation Day.
The international band which has a massive global following of fans, has performed in 21 countries across the world and has eight albums to its credit and has sold more than 11 million records in its journey to becoming a legendary landmark in music.
Goa, with its musical legacy and an incessant craving for international music, is an ideal destination for an MLTR event, something which even the band’s drummer Kare Wanscher acknowledges. “We have heard a lot about this beautiful place and the lovely people that live there. We cannot wait to come to Goa and perform for our fans there. Goa, see you soon,” the musician said in his message to the band’s Goan fans ahead of the Goa leg of their India tour.
Formed in 1988, the band has a huge following in Asia and when in Goa are expected to sing their global chartbusting hits like Blue Night, You Took My Heart Away, Take Me To Your Heart, Complicated Heart, Sleeping Child, Silent Times, etc.
