Hopefully, you’ve come across the Walkman brand before. Before the phones that came out about a decade ago bearing the Walkman name, there was a series of portable cassette players that bore the Walkman brand. This was first invented in Japan and released in 1979, before making it to Britain and America in 1980-1981. So, 2016 marks the 37th year of the Walkman and just as the year started to come to a close, we stumbled upon one of the first Walkman commercials. It’s a fun one and quite simple for the day.
